Razer Kaira Pro

The launch of next-generation consoles means all-new accessories for our new gaming machines. One of the must-have accessories in today’s social gaming landscape? A reliable, and comfortable, gaming headset. Enter Razer’s Kaira Pro for Xbox Series X|S.

Razer’s Kaira Pro

We recently reviewed the BlackShark V2 from Razer and found it to be one of the most comfortable gaming headsets on the market. I personally haven’t found a more comfortable headset since the Astro A50’s—the BlackShark V2 blew them out of the water in terms of comfort and bang for your buck.

The Kaira Pro’s are designed to take advantage of the Xbox Series X|S and Cloud Gaming on Xbox. You can also connect to your cellphone via Bluetooth for gaming on the go!

Being able to take your Kaira Pro’s on the go is a huge bonus. The on-board secondary mobile mic makes it so you don’t have to worry about carrying your detachable supercardioid mic everywhere you go. Or risk looking silly in public. It’s easy to play games and even take phone calls directly on the headset.

Syncing is a breeze, just hit the sync button on your Series X|S and on the Razer Kaira Pro. You’ll know it’s connecting when you see flashing lights on your Series X|S and flashing Razer logos on the headset itself. The Kaira Pro offers a direct, low-latency experience via Xbox Wireless.

Kaira Pro’s Sound

Like the BlackShark V2, the Kaira Pro’s come with Razer’s Triforce Titanium 50mm Drivers. Providing an immersive audio experience. The Kaira Pro’s are also compatible with Windows Sonic for an amazing spatial audio experience. Also! The headset comes with Razer’s Hyperclear Supercardioid Mic for a crisp clear sound when chatting.

All your audio controls are readily available on the earcups themselves. Buttons to adjust 4 varying EQ settings, volume settings for sound, in-game sound, and chat, as well as a mic mute switch. Although, I found that I was unable to mute my mic while playing on my Series X.

Download the companion app to further customize your sound experience. Create personalized EQ presets and fine-tune your sound to your liking.

Kaira Pro Comfort

The flowknit memory foam ear cushions are extremely comfortable and ultra-soft. The breathable material prevents it from running warm and causing sweat build-up. Something I’m all too familiar with my Astro A40’s and A50’s. Even though they were super comfortable, however, I found that Razer’s BlackShark V2 cushions were still much more comfortable in comparison.

Are the Kaira Pro’s worth it?

Razer’s Kaira Pro is the perfect headset for the Series X|S. It’s light, comfortable, and a breeze to set up and use. Whether you’re gaming on your Series X|S console or on the go via the Cloud Gaming on Xbox—Razer’s Kaira Pro is a great option.

The Razer Kaira Pro retails for $149.99.
