About Us

Hello there,

We would like to be the first to welcome you to MysteryBlock.com. As of July 2019, we are now based in San Francisco, CA, arguably the hub of technology. The San Francisco Bay Area is known for Silicon Valley, but more so for the passionate tech workers who never tire of reading about innovation and advancement. Our hope is that our readers feel the same way we do!

Members of our staff include:

Ziggy – Your resident site manager and all things gadget obsessor. Ziggy spends time with his family, friends, and at the local Apple store. He attended community college at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA then went onto become a Spartan at San Jose State University. He’s in his 11th year of working in tech.

Deal Hunter – Have you ever had a friend that sat on Amazon tirelessly and sent you the greatest deals and finds? This is that friend. Deal Hunter spends his free time scoping out 4.5-star Yelp foodie spots and is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego. When he’s not working at his day gig at a Fortune 500 company, he writes for MysteryBlock. And yes, his name is Deal Hunter.

Andrei – Based out of the UK, he’s the founder of Content Chief and is based out of the UK. His passion project, he’s hoping that it would turn into a full-time gig. He’s been writing for MysteryBlock for a few years and is the resident editor.

Things we promise, you, our readers:

  1. We promise to own what we write. This means if it’s not correct or is identified as a problem, we will quickly remedy it or remove it.
  2. Our readers are our focus. This means that if we know there’s an important topic to our users, we’ll focus on what’s important to you.
  3. We’re focused on long-term and strategic growth, not crash and burn. While our blog accepts forms of sponsorships and advertisements, we have plans to scale moderately and carefully. If something doesn’t work out that serves our users’ best interests, we won’t do it. See point #2 above!
  4. Mobile first, always. We get that not everyone can be at a computer so our content and is and will always be mobile-friendly first. It’s no fun to try to read bad content on a smaller screen

Our Partnerships:

We work with an amazing crew over at Community Hired, and their partnership allows us to focus on the website. We will continue to develop strategic partnerships to strengthen our impact and growth. If you have a partnership you’d like to discuss with us, send over an email to: [email protected].

We are excited to be your team and cannot wait to bring you lots of amazing content. In the meantime, if you have questions, feedback, or topics you wish to hear from us, drop us an email at: [email protected].

From foggy San Francisco,
-MysteryBlock Team
