The award-winning and epic Knights of the Old Republic is being remade for PS5. This brief teaser provided no details or dates, but we sure are excited!

Project Eve

This upcoming South Korean developed action RPG comes from a studio best known for mobile games. No release date was provided, but it is a game worth keeping on your radar.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

The all-new fantastically whimsical D&D-inspired looter-shooter from the studio that brought you Borderlands is getting ready for launch in March 2022!

Forespoken

We finally got a deeper glimpse at Square Enix’s Forespoken—the action RPG formerly known as Project Athia. This narrative-driven adventure is set for release in the Spring of 2022

Rainbow Six: Extraction

This January, team up with a squad of 1-3 operators and infiltrate alien-infested locations with friends. Gather samples, materials, secure objectives, and get the hell out! Rainbow Six: Extraction lands January 2022.

Alan Wake

The psychological horror game is back, remastered, and coming October 5th! If you haven’t played the original, you owe it to yourself to do so!

Grand Theft Auto 5

Improvements are coming to Grand Theft Auto 5 in March of 2022 in the form of improved graphics, better gameplay elements, quick and seamless character switching, and more.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

The long-awaited first-person action-adventure game from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda is slated for next year. Use various psychic and paranormal abilities to defeat the ghosts and spirits haunting Tokyo, Japan.

Guardians of the Galaxy

On October 26th Peter Quill and Co. will finally be getting their own action-adventure game. Topped with hilarious dialogue and the team interactions we expect from this interstellar group of rag-tag mischiefs.

Vampire the Masquerade

Blood Hunt is a free battle-royale game set in the Vampire the Masquerade universe, filled with character roles, supernatural powers, and abilities. Blood Hunt is coming to PlayStation in 2021.

Honorable Mentions

Among the showcased games, we saw another trailer for Deathloop, which is still slated for September 14th. We were given a brief glimpse at an upcoming and mysterious collaboration between Radiohead and Epic Games titled Kid A Mnesia Exhibition. Tchia surprised us with a cute and colorful world in which you can control physical objects and even animals. The remastered Uncharted 4: Legacy Thieves collection will also be coming to PS5.

And then…

Insomniac Games teased a major title with Marvel’s Wolverine. There were few details provided, but after Spider-Man, our expectations and hopes are through the roof!

Gran Turismo 7

The racing sim is back, and it looks amazing. The sheer amount of customization featured in the trailer has us excited and hoping that Gran Turismo returns to form after series entries that never truly captured what made the original PlayStation era games so great.

Marvel Spider-Man 2

Miles Morales and Peter Parker are back and are taking on Venom in the upcoming sequel to the smash-hit Marvel’s Spider-Man. Although it isn’t coming until 2023, we hope Marvel’s Wolverine will keep us busy in 2022.

God of War Ragnarok

It looks like we’re finally getting answers in the upcoming sequel to God of War. In the reveal trailer, it seems that the father and son duo of Kratos and Atreus will be exploring Atreus’ giant heritage and the prophecy.

Final Thoughts on PlayStation Showcase 2021

The fantastic showcase has us excited for gaming. Sony, in recent months, has shown little of what it had in store for their shiny new console, but they most certainly delivered today during the PlayStation Showcase 2021. What game are you most excited about? Let us know in the comments below!
